Poker on TV

Poker is now shown on ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPN Classic, Fox Sports, the Travel Channel, Bravo, Game Show Network, INHD, NBC, CNBC.just to name a few. The UK even has more than one all-poker-all-the-time cable network. You could set your DVR to record nothing but poker shows everyday and you would fill up the hard drive very quickly.

Gone are the days of watching players push chips around and maybe, maybe show their cards so we have an idea what they had. Now there are "lipstick cams," and post-flop odds displays. Poker celebrities, non-poker celebrities, and non-celebrities all have poker TV dedicated to them. There is even a program which televises online poker. We will watch as many of these shows as we can and report back here to let you know when you should watch and when you should catch that re-run of "Friends."
