Ultimate Bet Starts Own Online Tourney Championship

PokerStars has the World Championship of Online Poker. Full Tilt Poker has the Full Tilt Online Poker Series. Now Ultimate Bet is getting in the act with its own tournament series.

Beginning December 1, the UltimateBet.com Online Championship is a series of ten tournaments, each with a minimum guaranteed prize pool totaling over $2 million. In addition to the prize money, each tournament winner will receive a silver UltimateBet.com Online Championship bracelet. On top of that, the overall winner of the Championship Leaderboard will get the opportunity to battle Phil Hellmuth heads-up for an additional $10,000 in prize money.

Qualifying tournaments are held daily to allow players to win entries into the Championship events for smaller buy-ins.

12/7 @ 8:00pm -- PL Omaha Hi with rebuys -- $75,000 guaranteed
12/8 @ 8:00pm -- NL Hold'em -- $200,000 guaranteed
12/9 @ 8:00pm -- Elimination Blackjack-- $100,000 guaranteed
12/10 @ 3:00pm -- NL Hold'em -- $1,000,000 guaranteed

All buy-ins are $200 + $15 except for the final event, which is $500 + $30.
