Online gaming software developer Playtech announced today that the migration of the Tribeca Tables and Tain poker networks into Playtech’s iPoker network is now complete. While some of the poker rooms that were moved over to iPoker had done so over the past few weeks, the complete migration was finished a month ahead of schedule.
Playtech says the number of players on its network during peak times has more than doubled because of the migration, from 8,400 to over 20,000. According to website pokersitescout.com, the iPoker network is now the fourth largest on the internet. Unfortunately for Americans, iPoker does not accept U.S. customers.
The company has said it was also able to cross-sell casino games to many of the new rooms on the network, which provide an additional boost to revenues.
