Sun Poker’s “Sick Promo” Begins Today

SunPoker.com is set to launch its “One Sick Promo” today, awarding one hundred players World Series of Poker prize packages.

In the promotion, players at the online poker room will race to try to earn the most MPP’s (My Poker Points) from December 1 through May 31. At the end of the six month period, the one hundred players with the most MPP’s will win 2007 WSOP packages.

The top five will win $15,000 in WSOP chips (presumably to be used as buy-ins for any WSOP events), between $5,000 and $2,000 in cash, and a trip for two to Las Vegas for the 2007 WSOP. Those five winners will make the trip to Vegas on a private jet and be provided accommodations at the Sun Poker mansion. As an additional bit of fun, they will also play against each other in a sit-and-go tournament on the plane to see who gets first choice of rooms at the mansion.

The next five MPP earners will receive $12,500 in WSOP chips, $4,000 to $2,000 in cash, airfare, and accommodations at a Vegas villa.

Similar packages (slightly fewer WSOP chips, less cash, and slightly less luxurious flights and accommodations) will be awarded to the 11th through 20th place finishers.

The 21st through 100th place finishers will also receive WSOP chips and cash and will compete against each other in groups of ten for travel and hotel packages.

On top of all that, every player who earns 50,000 MPP’s during the promotion period will compete in a freeroll to win a seat in the $50,000 H.O.R.S.E event at the 2007 WSOP.

Anyone interested in winning a WSOP package had better prepare to get zero sleep for half a year. For complete details, visit http://www.onesickpromo.com. Word of warning: some portions of the site contain sexually graphic content.
