World Poker Tour® (WPT) and Bellagio will host the WPT Ceremony of Champions at the world-renowned “O” Theatre on April 21, honoring the 96 WPT Champions crowned during the first six seasons on tour. In addition to highlighting players’ achievements, historic events and winning moments during the private ceremony, WPT commissioned Tiffany & Co. to design a personalized titanium and diamond bracelet for each Champion. Tiffany & Co. is the world’s premier jeweler and creator of sports league championship trophies for the NFL, MLB, NBA and NASCAR, among others.

“There are so many incredible stories to celebrate from the six World Poker Tour seasons and we are thrilled to pay tribute to each of our WPT Champions,” said WPT Founder, President and CEO, Steve Lipscomb. “The championship bracelet has become synonymous with poker as a symbol of achievement and respect, and we are honored to continue the tradition that Benny Binion began over 30 years ago.”

“The ceremony of champions is a great way to highlight the dedication and hard work it takes to become a winner on the World Poker Tour," said Doug Dalton, Director of Poker Operations for Bellagio. "We are excited to host this sensational event in the ‘O’ Theatre and we look forward to another successful championship event."

The event will kick off at 8:30 p.m. with a private cocktail party for players and VIPs at the “O” Theatre lobby where the “Art of Richard McDonald” exhibition is currently on display. The ceremony will begin at 10:00 p.m. and will be led by Masters of Ceremony, Mike Sexton and Vince Van Patten, WPT commentators who have crowned every WPT Champion since the first WPT tournament was held at Bellagio six years ago. Interviews, footage and other content from the exclusive event will be aired online via WPT Live Updates on www.worldpokertour.com.
