Sabina Gadecki Out at WPT

One year ago, the World Poker Tour gave its host, Courtney Friel, the boot just one year after she replaced the popular Shana Hiatt.  In stepped 2002 Miss Polonia World, Sabina Gadecki. 

Now, after just one season on the job, Gadecki, too, has reportedly been shown the door.  There has been no official announcement by the World Poker Tour as to any reasons why Gadecki has been let go, nor have they announced her replacement.  Unlike Friel, Gadecki seemed to be very well liked by WPT players (not that Friel was disliked, it’s just that she never quite fit in), so it is a mystery why she was only able to survive for one season. 

The first event of the WPT Season VI, the Mirage Poker Showdown, begins this weekend.
