PokerStars Celebrates Ten Billionth Hand

The ten billionth hand ever to be dealt at PokerStars is approaching, and to celebrate, the online poker room is giving away money.

To start, every customer is entitled to a 25 percent reload bonus up to $150.  Just deposit by May 22 using the bonus code “10Bhand” to get this one-time bonus.  To release the bonus, a player must earn 15 base FPP’s per dollar of bonus within 180 days.  For a short time, the bonus will be easier than usual to earn, as PokerStars will be awarding double FPP’s through May 22.

Next, for every millionth hand, players dealt into the milestone hands at cash ring game tables will receive from $100 to $2,000.  The value of the prize depends on the table stakes, as well as who wins (the winner receives more money than the other players who were dealt cards in the hand).  On top of that, anyone who has achieved SilverStar VIP status or higher will receive an additional 15 to 200 percent if they are involved in one of the milestone hands.  The higher the VIP status, the greater the multiplier.

Then there is the magical hand number ten billion.  The winner of this hand will pocket $100,000, while the other players dealt in will receive $10,000.  And just like the milestone hands above, the prizes will be multiplied based on VIP status.  All of the players will also receive a WCOOP Main Event ticket.

But wait, there’s more.  The May 20th Sunday Million will be infused with an additional $250,000 and the payout structure will be stretched to reward the top 25 percent of the field.  The Sunday Warm-Up tournament will be injected with an extra $100,000.

To top it all off, PokerStars will be holding four freeroll tournaments each day during the celebration.  Each will be password protected, but each password is the answer to a trivia question about PokerStars.  Know the answer, get access to a $1,000 freeroll.
