PokerStars Introduces Mac Beta

Mac users rejoice.  You can now play at PokerStars! 

The online poker room announced today that a new Mac version of its software is now available for download.  Still in the beta testing stage, the software is almost fully functional.  The primary features that are missing are Layout Manager and Preferred Seat. 

To download the new Mac software, simply go to PokerStars.com, click on “Poker Room” and then “Getting Started.” 

Software Requirements: Mac OS X 10.4.10 or later  

Hardware Requirements:  

Minimum system configuration
· PowerPC G4 or G5 or Intel Mac
· 512MB RAM
· 1024x768 screen resolution or higher
· 60MB free disk space
· 56k dial-up Internet connection

Recommended system configuration
· PowerPC G4 1Ghz or faster, PowerPC G5 or Intel Mac
· 1024MB RAM
· 1024x768 screen resolution or higher
· 100MB free disk space
· 128kbps or faster DSL or Cable Internet connection
