Online poker room, PokerShare, just months after re-opening for business on its second poker network, will be moving once again. This time, PokerShare will be moving from the Tain network to the Prima Poker network. The move is planned for around the end of October.
PokerShare has said that the switch is primarily because CasinoShare, the company’s online casino, runs on the Microgaming platform, the same platform that is used by Prima Poker. One would also suspect that the low player activity plays a factor. At its Peak, the Tain network only sees about 3,000 people playing, and since it is a Euro-centric network, during the U.S. evenings, there are less than 1,000 players at the tables.
