Last week, it was reported that the Tribeca Tables poker network was shutting out players from the United States, which was earlier than expected, considering that its tables have not been formally combined with those from its new owner, Playtech. This weekend, Poker Host announced that it will be leaving Tribeca in an effort to continue serving U.S. players.
Poker Host will join the Microgaming Poker Network, the third largest network/poker room to still allow American customers. The move has not taken place yet, but will soon.
While U.S. customers are allowed on Microgaming sites, the network does not allow players from the following states because of specific state laws: Michigan, Illinois, Louisiana, Oregon, Wisconsin, Washington, Indiana, Nevada, South Dakota, New York, New Jersey.
