Poker Channel Expands into Europe

The Poker Channel, the UK’s first dedicated poker television network, will expand its broadcast into several more European countries starting March 1st. The network, which started airing all poker, all the time in March 2005, is ready to launch in Germany, France, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland.

The channel will air on the following networks:

• Germany -- Cable Deutschland and KBW
• France -- Noos Numericable, channels 48 and 95; ADSL platform Free, channel 65
• Denmark, Sweden, Norway & Finland – Canal Digital, channel 95

The Poker Channels programming has included The British Poker Open, European Poker Masters, The Million Dollar Cash Game, coverage of internet games at PokerHeaven.com, as well as interviews with poker pros.
