2005 World Series of Poker Seniors No-Limit Hold’em bracelet winner, Paul McKinney, was arrested along with fifteen others Friday night in a Kingsport, Tennessee gambling raid. $19,900 cash, as well as poker chips, cards, and sports betting slips were seized in the raid. McKinney, 82, was charged with aggravated gambling promotion for his alleged role as bookie in the gambling operation. He also had some pills on him and was thus charged with possession of schedule III narcotics. Donnie Godsey, 46, was also charged with aggravated gambling promotion, as he was fingered as the head of the establishment. Police raided the establishment, in which the sixteen men were playing poker, at around 9:30 Friday night. They had been tipped off by a local resident. The charges faced by McKinney and Godsey are felony charges.
