PartyGaming Slowly Recovering

PartyGaming announced today that, while still well below what they were a few months ago, its daily poker revenues have increased since it banned U.S. players.

After closing its doors to the U.S. in October after the UIGEA was signed into law by President Bush, PartyGaming lost the majority of its players at its online poker room, Party Poker. Party Poker has since fallen from the top spot in the industry, making way for the likes of Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars, who still accept American customers.

At its lowest, Party Poker was pulling in $637,000 in revenue per day. Today, that figure has grown to $721,000. Said the company, “Overall yield per active player day has been affected by the loss of higher-raking players, but this has been partially mitigated by strong levels of new player sign-ups that have averaged over 1,400 per day.”

Not counting sports betting, daily revenue from all of its brands has been averaging $921,000 over the last four weeks.

Now that the player base has been shuffled, PartyGaming now gets two-thirds of its revenues from Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, with most of the rest from Canada, Central America, and South America.
