Party Poker, the internet’s largest poker room, has implemented its version of a progressive High Hand Jackpot. Available at specially designated tables at limits $2/$4 through $15/$30, 70% of the current jackpot will be paid out to the players at the table when somebody wins with a Royal Flush (20% is used to restart the jackpot and 10% is kept by Party Poker as a fee). The winner of the hand receives 70% of the distribution, while the other players who were actually dealt cards (no, sitting out does not count) split the remaining 30% equally. Other important rules for the jackpot:
• 4 or more players must be dealt cards • Winning hand must use both hole cards AND the hand must go to a showdown • Players may not discuss the hand or otherwise tip each other off until the hand is completed.

Party Poker also recently made some other changes, including:
• Re-buy and add-on options in some tournaments. • Nine-player tables for some $1/$2 and $10/$20 Limit Hold’em games. • The ability to create private No-Limit and Pot-Limit tables.
