Paradise Poker Completes Migration to Boss Media Network

Paradise Poker, one of the oldest poker rooms on the internet, but a severe laggard of late, will finally complete its migration to Boss Media’s International Poker Network (IPN) today, ending its life as an independent poker room.  Customers will see their software updated upon login on Thursday.

Paradise had been one of the most popular and well respected online poker rooms, but the anti-online gaming legislation in the U.S. changed things drastically for the company.  Upon cutting off its American customers, Paradise all but dropped off the online poker map.  The move to IPN was necessary for survival, as it needed players.

The poker room feels that its [relatively] strong tournament presence combined with IPN’s reasonable traffic at the cash tables will help it become relevant again.  To celebrate the move, Paradise Poker will be running several promotions exclusive to its site:

  • Paradise RUSH – one person will win a one hour, €100,000 shopping spree.
  • WSOP Last Chance – one WSOP Main Event seat guaranteed in a weekly $25 re-buy tournament.
  • Paradise Poker Ladder – rewards the best cash game players at all stakes.
  • Over $10,000 every week in freerolls and FPP tournaments.
  • New VIP program with big prizes.
