Ongame Network Adds $400,000 to Tourney Pools

February saw a spate of extra money pour into guaranteed prize pool tournaments at online poker rooms, with Party Poker, Absolute Poker, and Microgaming all boosting their guarantees and adding tourneys. Today, the Ongame Network, home to PokerRoom.com, announced that it will be injecting $400,000 into their guaranteed tournaments every week during March.

The following are the changes to Ongame’s existing tournaments:

• Big Deal – Old Guarantee: $50,000; New Guarantee: $75,000
• Euro Grand Prix – Old: $20,000; New: $40,000
• Royal Tournament – Old: $15,000; New: $20,000
• Grand Tournament – Old: $0; New: $150,000

Ongame is also adding four daily $5,000 guaranteeds, one daily $3,000, and one daily $10,000, as well as four $5,000 guaranteeds on weekends.
