Ongame Introduces Flight Tournaments

The Ongame poker network (PokerRoom.com, HollywoodPoker.com) has introduced a new concept to the online poker world: the flight tournament. 

A flight tournament is a multi-table tournament that actually has a cut-off time on its first day so that players do not have to endure sleepless nights or all-day poker binges to try to make their way to the final table of the largest events.  The tournament picks up on the second day at the same time as it started initially. 

Ongame has also setup a variation of the flight tournament called a “forked” flight tournament.  In “forked” flight, there are actually multiple starting dates and times for the first segment of the tournament so that people around the world can find a time that works for them.  The different flights are then merged after the first day and re-start together at a pre-determined time.
