This Wednesday, October 17, there will be no more poker at the Las Vegas Hilton. After mysteriously struggling to fill its eleven tables for just over two years, management has decided to pull the plug on the venture that began in August 2005. It is surprising that the Hilton was unable to find success in poker, considering the boom in the game’s popularity over the last several years. In fact, several poker rooms have opened or re-opened in Las Vegas over the same time period because of the high demand. None have closed until now.
