Hollink Named EPT Player of the Month

Rob Hollink of Groningen, Holland, was named the “WilliamHillPoker.com European Poker Tour Player of the Month” for March 2005.

WilliamHillPoker.com is one of the official sponsors of the European Poker Rankings and will bestow this honor each month to the player deemed to have had the most successful month on the European Poker Tour (EPT). The finalists will be selected based on both their tournament results as well as their progress in the rankings.

Hollink has had his share of success before this, having won six World Series of Poker events and one World Poker Tour event, but he clinched the inaugural EPT Player of the Month title by proving victorious at the EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo, Monaco, taking home €650,000.

“Winning 'Player of the Month' really crowns my month off,” said Rob Hollink, “And to be named the inaugural winner, well, I'll go down in history!”
