GSN Announces WPT Season VI Television Schedule

The Game Show Network (GSN) has announced the television schedule for the sixth season of the World Poker Tour, which is its first season on GSN.  The schedule features twenty-three two-hour episodes, each airing on Mondays at 9:00pm ET/PT starting on March 24.   

The time slot is no coincidence, as it forms a poker block with High Stakes Poker, which airs just immediately before the WPT.   

"The WPT is one of the strongest brands on television, and poker fans will enjoy the action every Monday night on GSN," said Jamie Roberts, Senior Vice President of Programming at GSN in a press release. "With the popularity of our original cash game HIGH STAKES POKER and the WORLD POKER TOUR, there is no better place to watch poker on television." 

Mike Sexton and Vince Van Patten return as commentators and will be joined by a new hostess, Layla Kayleigh.  Kimberly Lansing, who has served as the WPT’s live update online hostess, will also appear in segments covering the portions of the tournaments that led up to the final table.
