Future Publishing Inks WPT Magazine Deal

UK-based Future Publishing has won the licensing rights to publish World Poker Tour: The Official Magazine, although there is no word yet when the first issue will hit the stands.

Like any other poker magazine, there will be columns written by top professional players, strategy articles, and the like. One nice feature not seen much in American poker magazines will be coverage of international poker events.

WPT Enterprises CEO Steve Lipscomb is excited about the new publication: "World Poker Tour is the global leader in poker and we have big plans for 2006 in the UK. Future’s official title will bring all the thrills of our tour to the UK's ever growing community of poker players."

Future Publishing specializes in technology and lifestyle magazines. Some of the company’s popular magazines include Official Xbox Magazine and PC Gamer.
