Full Tilt Updates Software

Full Tilt Poker released several updates to its popular software client last week, addressing several issues that had long been asked for by its players.  Nothing has drastically changed – it is the same Full Tilt look and feel as it always has been – but those who play on the site frequently should appreciate the additions.

For heavy cash game players, two updates should allow them to sit down and be dealt hands faster.  First, players can select a default buy-in, measured in big blinds.  Thus, after selecting a seat, players can just hit “enter” and their chip stack is automatically set at the default that was set.  Of course, adjustments can always be made for those who decide not to use their pre-set default for a session.  Second, for those who get stacked, an auto re-buy feature is now available.  Similar to the original default buy-in, this can also be set for a predetermined number of big blinds.  No more missing hands fumbling with a re-buy.

For those who enjoy heads-up sit-and-go’s, there is now the option for an immediate rematch without having to go back to the lobby to find the opponent again.

Two minor security features have also been implemented.  The most significant feature is the ability to see the last twenty logins to one’s account, complete with IP address and country of origin.  This way, it is possible to see if there was any suspicious account activity.  And on the lesser important side, the countries of each player can now been seen at the table.
