Slowly but surely, the world of online poker is opening up for Macintosh users. This week, FullTiltPoker.com became the third major online poker room to offer Mac users the ability to play at its tables. PokerRoom.com and PacificPoker.com are the other two Mac-friendly rooms.
Unlike its two Mac competitors, however, Full Tilt’s offering is a full software download, which plays exactly like its PC sibling. The other rooms only offer Java-based gameplay, which, while good, do not offer the same features and quality as a stand-alone application.
As the software is currently in Beta mode, Full Tilt is also giving away a small reward – a Full Tilt baseball cap – to players who are the first to report a bug that has not been caught.
Mac users can download the new software at http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/bonusMacBeta.php.
