Full Tilt Poker Announces FTOPS V Schedule

These big online tournament series always seem to come in groups. Shortly after PokerStars published its WCOOP schedule, Full Tilt Poker has now announced the lineup for its own Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS). FTOPS V will begin August 8 and run through August 19. It will consist of fourteen tournaments, culminating with the $2,620 buy-in Main Event, which will have $2 million guaranteed prize pool. FTOPS V will “top” the previous Series in both number of events and guaranteed prize pools. FTOPS IV, which was held this spring, was four events shorter and offered $4 million in guaranteed prize pools, compared to $7 million for this one. The poker room is also adding more prizes for top finishers, including: - Limited edition FTOPS baseball caps (to everyone who cashes)
- Baseball cap and limited edition FTOPS jacket (final table finishers)
- Gold FTOPS jersey and gold FTOPS avatar plus all of the above (tournament winners)
