FTOPS V Event #9 – “mattyv” Wins No-Limit Hold’em Six-Max Re-buy $450,000 Guarantee

It looks like the table size of choice at the Full Tilt Online Poker Series V is six-handed.  This time, it was another no-limit hold’em tournament, with re-buys, and with a guaranteed prize pool of $450,000.  With 1,133 entrants, 1,652 re-buys, and 569 add-ons, the prize pool grew to more than double the guarantee, eclipsing $1 million. 

Two well-known online players, Matt “mattyv” Vengrin and Isaac “mjorgenson13” Baron made the final table, but of course, a name doesn’t get you the championship.  A bit of a luck and a lot of skill does.  mjorgenson13 fell by the wayside in 5^th place, but mattyv turned out to be the last man standing, pocketing over $200,000 and the coveted FTOPS avatar.
