FTOPS V Event #13 – “csimmsux” Wins Pot-Limit Omaha with Re-buys

Omaha games tend to be wild and wacky, and the second-to-last FTOPS V event was no exception.  Lets start with the final table. 

Almost right away, wuddacooler was all-in pre-flop with Q-Q-9-8, but couldn’t improve against UghhhTILT’s A-A-4-7.  Two hands later, missbosshogsir’s pocket Aces were cracked by csimmsux’s trip Sixes, eliminating her in 8^th place.  Csimmsux took out the next player, as well, avoiding AmsterdamAce’s draws post-flop. 

The very next hand, HoosierAlum fell to UghhhTILT to go out in 6^th place.  After dudasdb was knocked out in 5^th place, all four remaining players had over a million chips, so it appeared that some good poker was in store. 

Nope.  Ten hands, three eliminations.  Csimmsux did all the damage, rivering both Mig_com and SamH133 to get to heads-up with UghhhTILT with a 4-to-1 chip lead. 

Four hands into heads-up, UghhhTILT moved all-in after a flop of 3-J-8, holding 10-7-4-8 for top pair and a gut-shot draw.  Unfortunately, csimmsux had her nailed with Q-Q-A-2 and UghhhTILT received no help from the final two cards.
