First Poker Room to Open in Seoul

Seoul, Korea will see its first poker room open this week at the Walker Hill Casino. Opening on December 15, the poker room will spread 4/8, 10/20, 20/40, and 30/60 fixed limit games and 1/2 and 5/10 no-limit. There will also be a 100 person, $22,000 freeroll held on Saturday.

The casino, also the first in Seoul, is located in the Walker Hill Hotel overlooking the Han River. Interestingly enough, the casino is open to foreigners only (bring your passport). In addition to poker, Walker Hill Casino offers blackjack, tai sai, roulette, slots, baccarat, and big wheel.
