DB Dealer Launches WPT Branded Digital Dealer Button

DB Dealer, Inc., makers of the DB Dealer digital dealer button, has partnered with the World Poker Tour to create a WPT-branded dealer button. The button, based on DB dealer’s extremely popular “original” version, is black with the WPT logo at the bottom.

The DB Dealer button is a fantastic way to time blind levels in poker tournaments, allowing home game enthusiasts to replace their old means of timing, whether it was the microwave clock, a laptop, or an egg timer. Since the timer is built into a dealer button, it really replaces two items instead of one.

The button is tamper-proof, so as it is passed around the table, the clock cannot be accidentally reset or changed. It also sounds a one-minute level-change warning and includes an auto-shutoff feature so one does not have to worry about wearing out the battery too quickly.

Perhaps the most overlooked, yet welcomed feature of the button is its form factor. Unlike copy-cat products, which are often huge and clunky, the DB Dealer button is the same size as a standard dealer button (although slightly thicker to accommodate the electronics). It comes packaged in a box the size of a deck of cards, so it can easily fit right in any poker chip case.

The DB Dealer button has also been a mainstay amongst the free gifts offered at Poker Source Online, included in a package with two decks of plastic Copag cards, five chip racks, and a cut card. This package can be received for free, just for signing up with any of Poker Source Online’s poker room partners.
