Daniel Negreanu Launches Poker Training Site

Fan favorite Daniel Negreanu has hopped on the poker training bandwagon, launching his new website this week, PokerVT.com.  At the site, members will have the opportunity to learn Negreanu’s secrets first hand, not matter what skill level they are at. 

Joining Negreanu as instructors at PokerVT are Paul Wasicka, JC Alvarado, Justin “BoostedJ” Smith, Adam Junglen, Annette Obrestad, and math expert Professor Charley Swayne.   

Like most of the other poker training sites, PokerVT will offer narrated videos of its pros playing online.  But there’s more to the site than that.  Negreanu himself has recorded beginner, intermediate, and advanced lessons, including ones on his “Small Ball” strategy.  He will also show members live hands, which actually include commentary by the players as they were played.  This is actually done in quite a unique way – the players all whisper into personal microphones, while wearing headphones so that it is difficult to hear the other players.  So, as they are playing live and in person, we can still tap into their poker minds.  Negreanu, in turn, analyzes the hands as they are played.  Prof. Swayne provides his own lessons, as well, on the mathematics of the game. 

There is a one-time signup fee of $149.99 to join the site, which is currently discounted at $119.99.  An ongoing $29.99 monthly fee is also charged.
