Another Cop Involved With Illegal Gambling

It’s been a while since we reported news about a brainiac police officer getting caught running an illegal gambling operation, but the wait is over. Another was apprehended last week in Chicago.

Thirty-six year old Richard Teresi was taken into custody Thursday night after investigators found that he was running card games and video poker out of a business on the northwest side of the city. The store was supposed to be a beauty shop, but it must have been a bad one, as there was no salon equipment to be found.

Police were tipped off to the illegal operation when someone complained to them that he was being cheated out of money by a Chicago officer. On top of everything, Teresi was charged with failure to register a gun, when an unregistered .44-caliber handgun was found in his locker.
