Caribbean Sun Poker Changes Name

Popular Cryptologic online poker room, Caribbean Sun Poker, has changed its name to Sun Poker as the result of its ownership by British newspaper, The Sun. The room will be operated by Victor Chandler.

To kick celebrate the new brand, Sun Poker is holding freeroll tournament, with the final nine players traveling to compete at London’s Palm Beach Casino in December. The Grand Final participants will play for over £30,000 in prizes, including a Mini Cooper.

Amy Copeland, Sun Online’s Head of Commercial Development, says the newspaper is excited to team up with Victor Chandler:

“VC Poker’s technology, marketing experience and large community of players, made them a natural choice for The Sun to work with,” she said.
