Juicier Sit-and-Go’s at Carbon in December

The holidays are a time for giving, and Carbon Poker has decided to make the entire month of December a holiday.  Until the New Year, Carbon is pumping up its Sit-and-Go’s with its Secret Santa promotion. 

In the promotion, random Sit-and-Go tournaments will be dubbed “Secret Santa” Sit-and-Go’s.  Players will not know they are at one of these special tables until all of the buy-ins are confirmed, but when they find out, they will be happy.  At these tables, Carbon Poker is doubling the prize pool.  There is a catch, though.  The extra money in the prize pool is not straight cash, but rather tickets into freeroll tournaments.  The Carbon website does not specify how the value of these tickets is calculated, but presumably the poker room estimates what a ticket to a freeroll is worth and awards the tickets to first, second, and third place in each Sit-and-Go according to value. 

Carbon is also jazzing up the Secret Santa tables with special table graphics, deck designs, and Christmas smilies, just to make things a little more fun.
