Cake Poker Awarding WSOP Seat for Referrals

As every online poker room is doing, Cake Poker is running satellites to win seats in the Main Event of the 2008 World Series of Poker.  That’s standard.  But this year, Cake is doing something else.  It is awarding a seat just for referring players to its site.

From March 1 through May 31, for every depositing customer that a Cake player refers, that player will earn 5 points.  Then, for every Gold Coin the new customer earns (through playing raked hands and tournaments), the player will earn an additional 15 points.  At the end of the promotional period, the player with the most points wins $10,000 Main Event seat. 

And, just like an referral, players will also earn the standard referral bonus, as well.
