Borgata to Host $500,000 Guaranteed Tourney

On Wednesday, April 2, the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa announced that it will hold a new poker tournament which will feature a half-million dollar guaranteed prize pool.  The $2,000 buy-in “$500,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool Deep Stack Poker Tournament” will take place May 4-6. 

Being a deep stack tournament, players will begin play with 30,000 in chips.  The blind structures will remain fairly standard, opening up more opportunities for quality poker play. 

There will be three qualifying tournaments at the Borgata in the week leading up to the Deep Stack Poker Tournament.  The first will be a $215 buy-in event on April 27, the second will be a $430 buy-in event on May 2, and the third will be another $430 buy-in event on May 3. 

The Borgata most recently hosted the World Poker Tour’s Borgata Poker Classic at the end of January.
