Bodog Starts World Series of Poker Qualifiers

The World Series of Poker Main Event is still five months away, but Bodog Poker knows that it doesn’t hurt to make travel plans early.  This week, Bodog launched its WSOP satellites, promising to dish out at least 120 Main Event seats by the time the tournament begins.

Things will start off slowly, with three seats awarded each week this month via “Main Event Semi-Final” tournaments.  Over the coming months, this number will be ratcheted up.  Additionally, Bodog is adding the Main Event as a prize choice for its weekly “Player’s Choice” tournaments.

Players can buy-in to the Semi-Final directly for $270, or they can work their way up the qualifying ladder for as little as $1.50 or 100 Bodog Poker points.

The $12,000 prize package includes the $10,000 Main Event buy-in, as well as $2,000 for travel expenses.  Bodog qualifiers also get Bodog gear, access to the Bodog VIP lounge, and entrance into Bodog parties.
