Bodog Postpones Marketing Conference

Online gambling company, Bodog.com, has announced that it is postponing its annual Bodog.com Marketing Conference, which was to be held next week in Las Vegas, coinciding with the World Series of Poker. The postponement was made, according to CEO Calvin Ayre in an e-mail to those attending, because of the recent arrests of BetOnSports.com executives and others in the industry. This week’s actions by the U.S. government obviously has many people scared.

Ayre said that the conference will be rescheduled at an international location.

In the meantime, Bodog’s big party will still be held at Tao at the Venetian on Tuesday, July 25 at 9:00pm. It will be interesting to see what the attendance is like.
