Another Bellagio Tournament Added to WPT

The Bellagio is a hot property on the World Poker Tour (WPT), and is about to become hotter.  The casino has announced that it will be added as a WPT stop in Season 6, as the $10,000 event of the Bellagio Cup III will be filmed for the WPT’s Game Show Network audience.  This will be the third WPT event hosted by the casino. 

The entire Bellagio Cup III will be competing directly with the World Series of Poker, as it runs from June 11 through July 15.  The WSOP runs June 1 through July 17.  The Bellagio Cup’s Championship, which is the specific event that will be televised, coincides with the heart of the WSOP Main Event. 

In addition to prize money, the winner of the event will receive a $25,000 seat at the 2008 WPT Championship, held, of course, at the Bellagio.
