Absolute Poker Adds Electronic Cashout for U.S. Players

The online poker rooms have been working to find new deposit methods for U.S. players over the last few months since many of the e-wallets have closed their doors to Americans, but many of those options have been one-way. Cashouts still needed to be made via a physical check, which makes it difficult to move money in and out of multiple rooms. Absolute Poker has now introduced a way for U.S. players to get their money transferred directly into their bank accounts.

Now available is ACH (Automated Clearing House) withdrawal right from the Absolute Poker cashier. This is similar to requesting a paper check, but with ACH, the check is sent directly to the player’s bank account in electronic form. Absolute Poker simply needs the account number and routing number of the bank account. Of course, the account must belong to the player submitting the cashout request.

Absolute does advise that additional information may be required for security purposes, but this is a good thing so as to cut down on fraud.

It is surprising that Absolute is able to do this, considering all the problems recently with electronic transfers to and from online gambling sites, but if this works, it could be a great thing for U.S. players.
