Absolute Changes Bonus Terms…Again

By Dan

Absolute Poker never learns. One would think that after the huge “superuser” cheating scandal, it would want to make nice with its customer base, but no, that wouldn’t be profitable. So, instead, for the umpteenth time, the poker room has changed its bonus terms with no grandfather clause for players with pending bonuses.

Before this week, players had to earn twenty poker points to release five dollars in bonus money. Now it’s up to thirty points. The requirements have gone up and down, up and down (mostly up) over the last year or two, but Absolute never allows players with bonuses currently pending to earn them under the terms by which they had originally agreed. Instead, Absolute changes the terms mid-stream without so much as a “sorry.”
